Tom Frost

Tom graduated BHS in 1968.  He played football under legendary coach Howie Vogts.  Tom went on to become a member of the Nassau County Police Department and worked in the Marine Bureau.  He was also assigned to Youth Services where he was Director of the Police Activity League which had over 6,000 youngsters enrolled in the Long Island Youth Lacrosse Program.  He also ran the Bethpage unit of PAL and dramatically increased participation rates for boys and girls in a wide variety of sports.  Upon retiring from the NCPD in 1990, Tom became a successful entrepreneur opening Long Island Athletics with his partner and fellow Golden Eagle Mike Caulfield.  Tom has long been associated with Nassau County athletics serving as a respected football official for 39 years.  He will soon be inducted into the National Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his officiating career.  Tom also served as a Trustee on the Bethpage Board of Education for 21 years, including several years as President.  He is most proud of the academic accomplishments of the Bethpage School District during his tenure including the increased number of Advanced Placement courses, the introduction of a Science Research Program and the reputation the district has in the area of computer technology.  He is thrilled that Newsweek recently named BHS the 353rd Best High School in America.  In addition he was a founding member of the Bethpage Community Council and the Ryan T. Caulfield Foundation.  Tom has been married to his wife Kathy for 40 years and has three Golden Eagle children- Susan, Tom and Christine.
