Linda Mangano

Linda Antonelli Mangano graduated from BHS in 1981.  She has fond memories of her days at Kramer Lane, JFK and BHS.  She returned as President of the PTA at CBS, then JFK and then BHS.  She was known for increasing the participation of parents and teachers.  Linda love of Halloween resulted in the incredibly successful Safe Halloween Party held each year at BHS and attended by almost 1000 people.  Children in costumes squealing with delight around the halls of BHS, volunteers from PTA, clubs and teams all owe a debt to Linda for starting this tradition for us.

Linda has been the longtime publisher of the Bethpage Tribune.  She writes, edits and does layout for our community newspaper.  She always manages to emphasize the positive and is generous in keeping everyone up to date on PAL, the Bethpage Historical Society and the Bethpage Schools.  People love to read the Trib to see what is happening in Bethpage.

Since 2010 Linda has been the First Lady of Nassau County.  She has worked tirelessly to advance the promotion of Nassau County as a place that cares for its citizens.  She is a fixture at visits to hospitals, senior centers, schools and centers for the disabled.  She has been an advocate for Narcan training for as many people as she can reach.

Linda was a founding member of the Bethpage Chamber of Commerce and continues to promote the small town culture of the community she has spent her whole life in.  Countless number of residents have benefitted from her caring devotion to help as many people as she can.

At home, Linda is surrounded by Golden Eagles- her husband Ed and her two sons Sal and Alex.
