Homework Hints

Homework should be viewed as a chance to practice the skills taught in school.

• Have students choose a quiet place to complete their homework.
• Make sure they have all the materials they need to complete their homework.
• Let them read the directions their own and then let them tell you what they have to do.
• Let them try and complete the work on their own.
• Review the work with them when they are finished.
• Write me a note if your child is having difficulty with the homework
• If they work slowly, set a timer for them.
