Hi! My name is Gina Rufrano and I have been at Central Boulevard for 15 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from C.W. Post College and my Masters Degree from Queens College. When I came to CBS I was placed in the 4th grade and have been there ever since. For my first 5 years I taught by myself, but now I am working in an inclusion classroom with Mrs. Corcoran and I love it.

Prior to my college career, I graduated from Bethpage High School, where I met my husband Nick. We continue to live in Bethpage with our two children, Michael and Nicole, and our two dogs, Jasmine and Junior. My husband went to elementary school right here at CBS. My elementary school was Charles Campagne, which is the school my children attend. If you see me around town be sure to say “Hello!”.

When I am not in school I enjoy reading, watching my children play various sports, taking pictures, scrapbooking, crocheting, and watching my favorite TV shows. When I travel my favorite spot is Walt Disney World in Florida.

Hi, my name is Mrs. Corcoran! This is my tenth year as a member of the Central Boulevard family and I love being a part of it. When I came to CBS I started working with Mrs. Rufrano in the 4th grade inclusion class, and am so fortunate to still be teamed up with her!

I grew up on Long Island and graduated from St. Joseph's College in May of 2000. I then moved to Northern Virginia and taught for two years. There I had the opportunity to work with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and really enjoyed the experience.

After that I returned to Long Island and married my husband Randy. We now have two beautiful daughters, Laura and Bailey, who we love spending our time with. When I'm not teaching or playing with my girls I'm probably reading, exercising or talking with my friends.

I hope you enjoy being at CBS as much as I do! Feel free to stop by room 212 and say, “Hi.”

Hi! My name is Heather Berke, this is my second year as a Teaching Assistant in Central Boulevard School. I am really excited to be working with Mrs. Rufrano and Mrs. Corcoran again in fourth grade!

I'm originally from upstate in Rochester, NY. I attended school at Long Island University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Childhood Education. I loved Long Island so much I made it my new home! I completed my Masters Degree in Literacy Education. I have always had a passion for reading and want to be able to share that with my students. In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy going to the beach and relaxing with a good book. I also like to cook and try out new recipes, and I love going to Islanders games!
