Bethpage Project

 Dear Class and Parents,

It is time to learn about Bethpage.  As discussed in class, I am asking you to create either a timeline or photo essay on oak tag.  Using the websites given to you and any other sources, please gather information, study it, and design a final presentation.   You will receive two grades, one for your final project and another for your presentation to the class.  Here are some reminders about the project:

     1.                Neatness counts

2.                Please make sure the photos on the photo essay are in time order.

3.                Write information on index cards or type out captions on the computer for each picture and paste them on your oak tag.

4.                You may use pictures with captions on your time line.

5.                You may NOT read from your project during the presentation.  You may use it as a guide for what you want to say.

6.                Please use rulers to make your lines straight and space the dates out as evenly as possible.

The project will be due ----------------.  If you do not have Internet access at home, we have it in our classroom.  You may print out the information at school and bring it home to use.  If you need any other supplies and are unable to obtain them, please ask me.  I will get you what you need.  Most of all enjoy yourself.  I find it exciting to learn about our history.
