It is a NYS requirement that each fifth grade student read 25
books by the end of the school year.
Please remind your student to read, read, read! All students
who read 25 books will earn a “NO HOMEWORK” pass from Mrs. Yansick. Students who continue to read past the
required 25
books can
earn more “NO HOMEWORK” passes, as well as Lotto tickets, and other prizes.

REMINDER: Extra help will be held on
Tuesday (Math) and Thursday (SS/LA) mornings from 8:45-9:15 am, unless Mrs.
Yansick says otherwise. All students are
welcome, but please attend only as needed.
