It is a
NYS requirement that each fifth grade student read 25 books by the end of the
school year. Please remind your student
to read, read, read! All
students who read 25 books will earn a “NO HOMEWORK” pass from Mrs.
Yansick. Students who continue to read
past the required 25 books can earn more “NO HOMEWORK” passes, as well as Lotto
tickets, and other prizes.

Test

3-8, Wednesday, May 4 through Friday, May 6, 2011. Specific Grade 5 dates to be announced. Sample questions for the 5th grade Language
Arts Assessment have been posted on the State Website. You can view sample

addition, review packets (2-4 pages) will be sent home on Fridays to be
completed over the weekend. These
packets will be counted as
