Welcome to Fifth Grade!

Here are the supplies you will need for my class.

We’re going to have a great year!

· 1 three subject notebook (With manila dividers between sections)

· 4 marble notebooks (200 pages)

· 4 bottom pocket folders

· Clear contact paper to cover workbooks

· Book covers for textbooks (Book Sox, large/Jumbo size)

· Crayons (no more than 48)

· Markers (thin and thick)

· Highlighters (thick and thin yellow)

· 2 glue sticks

· Scissors

· Ruler

· Scotch tape

· Pens, black or blue erasable (No White-Out please!)

· Many pencils, already sharpened

· 1 package of loose-leaf paper

· 3 boxes of tissues (For class use, do not label with name!)

· 1 one inch three ring binder (To be used for Science Fair packet)

· 1 package of 3 x 5 index cards

· 1 picture of self

· 1 old shirt to be used as an art smock

· 1 independent reading book (fifth grade level, must be in class EVERYDAY)

Please be sure to label your supplies clearly with your name. Other supplies may be needed throughout the school year. I will send home a reminder if this happens.

IMPORTANT: The children DO NOT need a trapper keeper/large binder. They do not have room to store them in their desks. Thank you! J
