Mission Statement:

Moms and Dads for Music is a district-wide parent group in the Bethpage School District who enjoy music and encourage music education. This group, through various activities, supports the participation of the children in the music program by publicizing concerts, recitals, music fairs and various other activities in which the group promotes the enjoyment of the children’s efforts. Service awards are given at the end of the school year to the students to encourage those who have displayed personal growth in the area of music and to those who, through performing, have been able to share with others.

We welcome all who are interested to join us at 7:00 p.m. at the Bethpage High School in Room 117. Our meeting dates are listed in the calendar.

This is what Moms And Dads does with its "M.A.D." money:

• Presents awards on Class Day in the elementary schools for BAND, ORCHESTRA, and CHORUS.
  
• Presents awards at the Academic Awards assembly in the middle school.
• Presents awards at the Senior Awards assembly in the Senior High school.
• Presents scholarship money to graduating high school seniors.
• Assists the music department with funding for various music related trips throughout the year. (Festivals of Music, Music in the Park, Band Camp)
• Subsidizes needy children

In order to raise money, we will be selling 50/50 raffles at all concerts. This year in addition to the 50/50 we are selling beautiful stadium blankets in blue and gold with the Bethpage Eagles logo. They are quite warm and are excellent for football games, marching band festivals, and especially gifts. We are selling scarves as well. A table will be set up at each of the concerts for your purchase or membership.

Frisbee Fundraiser!
