Q4: Where can I work on the report cards?
You can work on the report cards from all computers and thin clients in the district.

Yes. You must log into to the district server from our website http://www.bethpagecommunity.com/Schools/servers.htm and then modify the report cards from there.
Q6: Can I print the report cards from home?
No. Unfortunately printing from the classlink system to a home printer is not setup. You must print the report cards from school.

You can print the report cards from the printers in any of the computer labs or classrooms in the district.

No. Please do not add any files to these directories. Any additional notes you want on these students should be saved in your H:\ drive.
Q10: Can I email the student’s records?
No. You should not be emailing student records.
Q11: How do I move around within the report card document?
The TAB key or LEFT arrow will move you one cell forward. The SHIFT + TAB key or the RIGHT arrow moves you one cell backward. You must click into gray fields to modify them.
Q12: Can I change the font types or font sizes within the comments section?
No. The font sizes were selected to fit all contents on the page. The comments section has enough room for approximately 10 lines of comments.
Q13: I am unable to modify anything within the report card. What am I doing wrong?
All sections on the report card are locked except for the sections in gray. Click in the gray fields to input report card data.

No. Only one person can modify a report card at a time. Once the other user has closed the student’s report card, you can open it and modify it.
Q15: Who can see and modify the report cards?
All elementary teachers can view the report cards in the district. Only the teachers assigned to the appropriate elementary school can modify the report cards in that building.
Q16: How do I use the report card?
Please refer to the Elementary Report Card Instructions sheet on how to open, add grades, save, and print.
Q17: Where are the report cards located?
The report cards are located in the I:\ drive (“Student$ on ‘file 1’ I:\”) in a folder called “Report Cards K-5”. Please refer to the Elementary Report Card Instructions sheet for more information.
Q18: How do I submit the report cards when I am done?
Print 2 copies of the report card. One copy will be sent home while the other copy will be kept with the student’s record.
Q19: I don’t understand how the report cards are named. How do I find a particular report card?
The report cards are named first by the school year and then by the grade the student is in for that year. For instance, a 2nd grade report card for the 2005/2006 school year would be:
0506-Grade02.
Q20: Who creates new report cards each year?
We do at the help desk.
