Smart Board Tools bug using the Outline View in PowerPoint

Problem: A bug in Smart Board Tools intereferes with the proper functioning of the Outline View in PowerPoint. For instance Smart Board Tools will move the focus from the Outline View (on the left side of the screen) back to the middle/main portion of the window. You will not be able to use the TAB or SHIFT + TAB functionality to make bullets or remove bullets.

Resolution: Turn off Smart Board Tools while designing your PowerPoint file. To do this left click on the Smart Board Tools icon (next to the time in the bottom right corner of the screen) and click on Exit. This will turn off all Smart Board integration features. When you are done editing your powerpoint, you can reenable the Smart Board Tools by going to your start menu and clicking on Programs\SmartBoard\Smart Board Tools.
