Tom Rousakis graduated from BHS in 1989.  He played football and was MVP of the County Championship team and was the Captain of the Lacrosse team.  He went on to Harvard with a degree in Russian Studies.  He later received a Master’s Degree in Public Policy at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, focusing on housing, urban development and transportation
His career has centered around improving government performance and the state of public infrastructure.  Tom worked for the Special Commissioner of Investigation for New York City Schools, investigating high-level crimes and corruption in the New York City school system.

He moved into the private sector and worked  sixteen years (1997-2013) in investment banking for Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, where he financed or advised on over $20 billion of transportation infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships.

Tom currently leads Ernst & Young Infrastructure Advisors, which advises state and local government agencies nationally on the financing and procurement of large scale and complex projects.  Locally, advised on the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement and Moynihan Station redevelopment, and currently advising on the Gateway Hudson River Tunnel project.

Tom lives in Brooklyn with his wife Anna Beth, son Henry and daughter Mary.  They enjoy playing tennis, fishing, gardening and summers in Fire Island and Greece.
