Many letters addressed to our current 6th Graders were recently received by Mrs. Saltzman and forwarded to us here at JFKMS. This prompted our unit on KENYA followed by Pen Pal letters.

Mrs. Saltzman at Charles Campagne
Elementary School began a Pen Pal Program with her children when they were
in the 4th and 5th Grades.They learned about Kenya and the children. Through
an organization begun by a man who grew up in Plainview, NY, she was able
to send letters to children at the Kilimanjaro Junior Academy.
