BHS Orchestra Trip to New York Philharmonic

 

On December 4, the BHS orchestra and other music students attended a performance by the New York Philharmonic at Avery Fisher Hall in New York.  The program was three 20^th century compositions by Bartok, Ravel, and Debussy.  Guest artists were Esa-Pekka Salonen, conductor, and David Fray, the outstanding 28 year old French piano performer.
