A quick note for 5th graders
coming into the 6th grade band next year...............
-If you play a large instrument
like the Tenor Sax, Trombone or Baritone, you should look into buying or renting
your own for home next year. You WILL be given one from JFK next year to use
IN SCHOOL, but you should have your own for home practice!!!
-The middle school does NOT
rent instruments. All small instruments like Flutes, Clarinets, Trumpets, and
Alto Saxophones must be purchased or rented from an outside store, and you will
need to bring that instrument with you to school on days that you need it.
