Internet Access Requirement:
The use of technology is a significant part of the science activities in our
classroom. We will be using portable
laptop computers and visiting the computer lab for several major assignments,
including our final project. If the
student is unable to finish in the allotted time at school (absence or other),
access to computers with printers and the internet is necessary. There are several options available:
a) Lunchtime in the Computer Lab at JFK or in the JFK library.
b) Extra help after
school at JFK.
c) Personal Computer
at home or relative.
d) Public Library.
Ample time is given for alternate
arrangements to be made. Please discuss
with your student to plan for the unexpected and not wait until the last minute
with these technology based activities.
We understand the requirement for
computer with printing and internet access and are able to utilize one of the
four available options listed above.
