Hi! My name is Mrs.
Swicord. I have been the School Media Specialist at Kramer Lane
for nine years. Prior to teaching library skills, I taught third
grade in a private school for one year. I then taught third and
fifth grade in NYC Public Schools for four years. I received a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Sociology and Urban Studies from Queens College.
I received a Master's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education
from Adelphi University and a Master's Degree in Library Science
from Queens College.
I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my husband and my
daughter Kailey. I also enjoy reading, traveling, going out to dinner, going
to the movies and shopping.
